很多同學誤以為雅思寫作需要很多高大上的詞匯，但實際上，如果你仔細研讀考官范文就會發(fā)現(xiàn)，文中的那些“高級詞”基本上你都能看懂，但是你寫不出來。
比如：
考官原創(chuàng)段子：
From a personal perspective, it can be argued that these courses provide more job opportunities, career progression, better salaries, and therefore an improved quality of life for students who take them. On the societal level, by forcing people to choose particular university subjects, governments can ensure that any knowledge and skill gaps in the economy are covered.
考官在這個段落中，論述了大學生學習理工類學科的好處!具備大學英語四級(CET-4)詞匯量的同學，你們會發(fā)現(xiàn)這個段子你基本上都能看懂，這些詞匯有一個共同特點 — 具體，比如provide more job opportunities 提供更多工作機會, career progression 職業(yè)發(fā)展, better salaries 豐厚的工資。此外，像skill gaps in the economy are covered 縮短經(jīng)濟時代中的技能差距，有多少同學能夠想到用cover這個單詞來表示“縮短”呢？所以，你會發(fā)現(xiàn)真正的高手寫出來的作文你是可以看懂的，但是，很多詞匯你卻寫不出來。
再比如：

By building such easy-to-reach sporting facilities, people who lead sedentary life are more likely to walk out rather than sitting in front of the screen all day. 上面這個段子是考官用來論述修建體育設施是如何改善人們健康的。你會發(fā)現(xiàn)下劃線所標記出的詞匯與該大作文話題高度相關!比如，easy-to-reach sporting facilities 觸手可及的運動設施，sedentary life 久坐不動的生活狀態(tài), cater for all ages 適合不同年齡的人，warm-up exercise 熱身運動，如果這些詞你無法脫口而出的話，那么任何一個涉及到健康方面的觀點你都很難寫好。
通過以上兩個段子，可以得出一個重要結論：寫作中真正的“高級詞”==與話題高度相關的詞==具體的詞==你看見認識卻無法主動寫出的詞！
